General Collection Information

Collection

  • Buyers are fully responsible for removal of items plus all shipping and rigging charges.
  • Items are only available to collect once the transferred funds have cleared, and a collection appointment has been booked.
  • Buyers or third party movers must present an invoice to the on-site personnel when removing their items.
  • Buyers must complete the removal of items within the clearance deadline. Normal removal hours are Monday to Friday, from 9am to 4pm (local time) unless otherwise stated.
  • Contact and removal information will be emailed at the time invoices are issued.

  • Special Terms and Conditions 

    ·       Ownership of any Equipment sold will pass to the Buyer upon payment therefore in full. The seller shall continue to provide insurance coverage for the purchased items for transfer of liability to the buyer on collection of the goods and/or within the specified collection period. (Usually no longer than 14 days). The buyer shall obtain his own insurance coverage for the equipment effective from the date of collection OR beyond specified collection period onwards.

    ·       Please see the sale information section for any additional fees that may be applicable upon purchasing an item. NOTE: Vendor to approve all closing bids prior to Apex final invoicing.

    ·       This bid is only open to entities not based within the borders of the Republic of South Africa.  Additional levies (@ 20% of final bid price) shall apply to successful bidders who have direct or indirect operational interests in South Africa.

    ·       The equipment is currently stored in rental containers (40 ft x 18 total) as per the Manifest . The current storage containers will be available for purchase and the buyer is at liberty to engage the owner directly in this regard.
